Women Talking
Sierra Community House is hosting Women Talking in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Do nothing, stay and fight, or leave. A group of women in an isolated Mennonite religious colony struggle to reconcile their faith with a string of sexual assaults committed by the colony’s men. The movie won the 2023 Academy Award for Best Screenplay.
Following the film, SCH staff will lead a guided community discussion, and licensed therapists will be available to support attendees who wish to process and debrief in a safe, compassionate space.
