My Omaha

My Omaha

MY OMAHA is a powerful and intimate portrait of a left-leaning filmmaker and his terminally ill, MAGA-supporting father as they embark on a series of raw, searching conversations—set against the backdrop of a racially and politically divided Omaha. As activist movements rise in North Omaha and the filmmaker forms a deep bond with a local leader, the film becomes both a personal reckoning and a moving exploration of how love, grief, and honest dialogue can transcend even the deepest divides.

This is our second film from the IRL Movie Club, a non-profit organization that curates and underwrites a quarterly documentary film program designed to gather people in theaters across the nation on the same day, where they can watch, connect, and talk.
