LUNAFest

LUNAFest is proud to amplify the inspiring short films by this year’s selection of women and gender nonconforming directors. This year’s featured filmmakers are from all walks of life and range from poets to conservationists, activists, and educators. These stories remind us that when we come together, we all move forward. Films feature bold individuals, powerful images, and impactful language. Stories reflect the diverse perspectives of the filmmakers and their subjects. Some may contain content that is not suitable for children.

The 2023 season features seven short films with a total running time of 90 minutes. You can watch the individual trailers HERE. This could be the last LUNAFest for a while since next year’s film fest is being put on pause as LUNA reevaluates the program.

The event is a fundraiser for Girls on the Run Sierras. $30, includes two raffles tickets. Movies are suitable for ages 13 and up.
