The Hypocrite

In The Hypocrite, produced by TGR and POW, professional skier Amie Engerbretson struggles with the realities of trying to help the environment while being a professional athlete, advocating for change while relying on fossil fuels for her passion and career. It aims to dismantle the culture of individual blame and guilt, focusing instead on the systemic shifts required to pave the way for a sustainable future. By erasing the boundaries that label individuals as hypocrites, the narrative invites viewers to recognize the urgent need for collective action and change. 

The movie also features POW founder and big mountain snowboarder Jeremy Jones.

The movie will be followed by a panel discussion with Amie, skier Todd Ligare, climate scientist Ian Bolliger, and moderated by Emily Tidwell, POW Alliance Member of the Year 2023.
